If you have a video which renders frames inverted, you can fix this by using the video frame manipulation tool offered by VLC.
Here is a simple demonstration:
This (picture shown below) is the frame of a video at 3.03 seconds. This is not inverted, but this will do for a demo.
Step 1: Stop the video from playing any further.
Step 2: Go to Tools –> Effects and Filters (Or Press Ctrl+E)
Step 3: This will open another window. Select the ‘Video Effects Tab’.
Step 4: Select ‘Transform’ and choose the appropriate option (in this case I have selected 90 degrees). If you video is inverted, then you need to choose 180 degrees.
Step 5: Close the window and play the video
You can see that all the frames in the video has been inverted.
