Even I started using computers (I remember I was using M$ 98!) , I was really addicted to some DOS games. Dave (Dangerous dave), Prince, Mario (and even Roadrash of EA Sports) lured that 6 or 7 year old (a guess so) child. Now, I really miss those games. I am not really after by the progression of stages, but those games help me to go back to my sweet childhood ages.
Though I have a Windows installed in my laptop, I hardly use that proprietary platform. So, I have to use my DOS box (emulator) in GNU/Linux for playing these sweet old games. Some times, it may throw up some error and the game stops in between
But now I stumbled upon something quite kwel!
An online version of all these games. You can opt your browser straight to this page and start playing games. The pages has listed out some of the available DOS games, in alphabetic order.

But, unfortunatly, you can’t find all the games. Still there is a ray of hope. The developers are still working on the project and they are gonna port more games soon.
The site uses JPC ( a pure Java™ x86 PC emulator) for rendering the games online (I will be covering more about JPC in the upcoming editions). So when you startup a new game it will try this Java code in your browser:

After this stage the DOS emulation will be initiated.

Please note that all these are happening in your browser itself. This is actually a RAM intensive one and you may also need a good broadband service for accessing these without any hurdles.
Once it is loaded into your cache, it will launch the selected game.

If you are in M$ platform, you can also download some these games. But please read the wiki (for specifications) before downloading.

Virtual Memory sure is becoming cheaper and cheaper and cheaper. I wonder when we will finally hit the ratio of $0.01 to 1 Gigabyte.I’m still waiting for the day when I will finally be able to afford a 20 terabyte harddisk, lol. But for now I will be satisfied with having a 32 gig Micro SD in my R4i.(Posted by SKu2 for R4i Nintendo DS.)
While i generally wished to write for my niche site something comparable to yours almost magic like you have brought in a certain amount of decent things here. I probably did research over the main subject and even found most visitors may agree on your current writings.Fantastic work! For those who may want it resource site at which everyone can easily seek HD Camera from the internet
Virtual memory,to me, is something that I seemingly will never have enough of. It feels like megabytes and gigabytes have become an inseparable part of my day to day existence. Ever since I bought a Micro SD Card for my NDS flash card, I’ve been on permanent watch for large memory at low prices. It’s driving me crazy.(Posted by NetSurf for R4i Nintendo DS.)
