I’m not good when it comes to graphics. When I was young I’ve tried many proprietary stuffs like Photoshop. Later I experimented with GIMP and found that ,apart from simple image manipulation (which is required when we code), I can’t do anything impressive in graphics. And I always relied on my friends (and fortunately they were willing to lend a hand ).

This is the case with many other programmers (and normal users). This is the sole reason why I thought I should write about some of the image manipulation programs available online. This edition is dedicated entirely for that.

FunPhotoBox

Funphotobox is the top one in the list. The figure shown below illustrates some of the editing works that you can easily perform using this online application.

Photofunia

You can use this for producing various photo effects. The developers are actively adding more and more features to it (by now itself, there are some 100+ effects to choose from).

And here is a proof that any one can do very impressive image manipulations (since I could do it myself (^o^) )

Photovisi

This service is good for making Mosaics and Collages. There is another service called pixisnap for making photomosaics more effectively.

TiltShiftMaker

This will help you to convert your pictures into miniature models.

FotoCrib

This application offers multiple services. You can create montages, convert images from a given format to another, add 3d effects and create rounded corners. The most striking one is that it allows you to create photo puzzles.

Genopal (pic2graphics)

As the name suggests, it allows you to convert pictures to graphics format.

Picascii and Photo2Text

These two services allows you to convert (transform) an image to asciiart (picture formed by ascii characters).

Dumpr

This application enables easy editing and allows you to apply effects to your photos (after uploading the picture to their server).

BeFunky

This is another service that helps you to add artistic effects to your photos. You can convert your photo into a cartoon, pencil / ink drawing etc.

Most of these programs employs an algorithm to detect ‘face’ in your photo. And this makes them very impressive.
