We all know about the ‘Nigerian Spam Emails’ . The moment we see an email that tells you have won several millions (:D) of dollars we press the Spam button. And we have also heard about few unfortunate ones who lost their money by going after these frauds.

Well, some time back a firm based in UK (Mother Advertising) decided to select one of its client as a ‘lucky winner’ of their Christmas present, by a ‘bazzire’ way . They decided to send an email to their clients and decided to give the ‘prize’ to the person who replies back first.

They sent out emails to all their clients and partners telling them that they could be a lucky winner if the person could revert back to the email.

And they also asked the recipients to send some details like Name , Bank account details and so on. (Does it not sound like a ‘classic spam’ email?)

And interestingly only one out of the several hundreds of recipients replied back to their email and gave his details.

And the result was – He won 10,000 USD as a Christmas gift!!

Well, this is very very strange case. Having mentioned this point, how many of you will press your spam button the next time when you see such type of an email ??
