Can you spot what is unique?

15 Nov

Here are few statements. Can you guess what is unique about them?

  • Was it Eliot’s toilet I saw?
  • Oozy rat in a sanitary zoo
  • A nut for a jar of tuna
  • Are we not drawn onward, we few, drawn onward to new era?

Found? Okay, I will give few more samples…

  • A man, a plan, a canal: Panama!
  • We panic in a pew
  • Dennis and Edna sinned
  • Borrow or rob?
  • Never odd or even
  • Do geese see God?

Well, these types of statements (phrases) are called Palindromes. They read the same irrespective of the direction in which you read them!
